Paul, I was already drunk when I turned it on...
Some of those pedestrians don't quite get the concept that you're barely in control of several thousand pounds of moving vehicle that they're standing in the way of, do they?
This time last week I as watching the first real snowfall here in 10 years melt. This weekend they're looking at 65+ both days and sunshine. I've already washed the car (worked up a sweat, too!) and plan to enjoy it this afternoon. Ah, Spring!
PS: I hear it's raining in sunny Socal (snicker!).

It rained (sprinkled) in the OC for about 15 minutes last night and left a deluge of 0.00001 inches of rain. Ooooh the humanity....(as Vince would say)!

THAT WAS JUST DEW NO RAIN AT ALL
You walk down the middle of the street in Chicago and you can bet your ass you'll be laying on it. Nice vid Paul, we got 10 inches comming tommorow.
Yeah but doesn't 0.00001 inches of rain cause massive land slides? ;-)
See, we don't have to worry about that here because we have no hills whatsoever. Kinda sucks in hurricane season, tho'.

Yeah - Lane is 2 hours NE of me, and the biggest hill between us is something like 10 feet above sea level. The tallest thing is te Cooper River Bridge:

If you East Coast guys ever happen to be in SoCal during any of the 'rain storms' we get (once in a blue moon), you would would fall on your asses laughing at the news stations' Breaking News' weather reports!!
The various news stations would have reporters in locations throughout SoCal reporting on the "pouring rain" (more often-than-not, less than half an inch). Conan O'brien did a pretty funny skit about this.
Those folks affected by the mudslides here in SoCal are California's version of the folks that lose their double-wide trailers in the Tornado Alley of the Mid-west!
