Attached is a flyer announcing a cruise in event for the lunch stop of The Great Race in Peoria, Illinois on the last day of this years Corn Daze event for SOCer's!

Corn Daze attendees will be able to join in this non - judged "shine and show" event and watch the 99 teams of pre 1969 Great Race participating cars roll into town for lunch. Peoria is the halfway mark for that days segment of the race starting in Iowa and ending in Hannibal, Missouri.

The Great Race start in Minneapolis and winds down the Mississippi to end in Louisiana. $150,000 in prize money is up for grabs in the event which features every kind of pre 1969 car going back to the early 20th century "brass lantern" hand crankers. Quite an opportunity to see a wide variety of interesting vehicles from stock to race configuration.

The venue is right on the riverfront for both the cruise in and the lunch stop over, and there will be the locally famed food vendor carts and trucks for those who are so inclined.

One more reason to join in all or part of the Corn Daze - Part Deux experience, June 22-24 in Peoria.

Questions - leave a message on the thread or dialog me.

Bob
