After a few delays on parts, finally took delivery of our new ride on Thursday. Got it home and put a bit of MUSBJIM flavor on it and here it is!

No bumper deco, emblems or scripts, Carrera deck lid, replica Fuchs 5.5" with 185x60 tires, seats/door-panels/dash are cinnamon color with contrast piping (black), 1915 with 110 cam, Kadrons (musbjim is a cruiser, daily driver and economy mpg), A-1 Sidewinder single center exhaust, retro radio with Blue Tooth/USB/iPod/iPhone connectivity.

 

Mesh stone guards (Thanks Scott), Pegasus decals (7") from DecalBoy.com, Pep Boys driving lights with checker decal (DecalBoy.com) applied to covers. Will have wheel caps painted with Porsche colors.

 

WOOOO HOOOOO!

Rich - still have my awesome SOC badge. Just trying to decide where to apply it. Maybe on the dash where the Speedster emblem usually is located. 

 

Ted - Checking on availability of a few plate choices. When doing my registration at AAA, I asked about YOM (wanted yellow /black letters) and they said they aren't available for issue yet! 

 

Al - stock valves, 1 1/2" exhaust. You know me, I'm a cruiser so pretty much stock or mild stuff for my daily driver Speedster (along with full flow, ext filter/cooler). 

 

Think we're going for a night ride by the beach! Thanks for positive feedback. Later dudes!

Oh, I wasn't even thinking of a personalized YOM. I was just thinking of an original black and yellow YOM plate for a 67, like I did with mine. 

 

I kind of like the idea of a personalized YOM. Now that I think about it, I think I signed up for one using the original form. I may even have chosen a custom plate. I don't remember. If they start making them, are there going to contact me?

 

Ha! This is why it's called 'Madness'!

 

Car looks amazing. I think the black plate will really be icing on the cake.
