After taking a bit of a break from the car to gain fresh ideas ...it's back on track. Slow going with a few new revisions. Decided not to go with a complete aluminum covered engine compartment again. Too much of a hassle to keep cleen. I have made up carbon fiber overlay panels to fit on the vertical compartment wall. I'll post some pictures later. The largest task conquerored was the exiting of the exhaust. Though there was some doubt with a BAS exhaust system. Plus I jumped the gun and fabed up a exit point in the body . It would of looked odd with nothing going through it. It was a lot of cut and paste type fitting up. The clamps will be removed once I have made the hangers out of stainless . I tossed the BAS brackets. The idea basically came from the Ford GT -40. The blue tape is for the future undercoating. That's a messy job. New plans are to mount the battery on the drivers side behind the rear tire. I have found a small dry cell battery that will fit. The battery area will be enclosed with aluminum to protect it .
