The latest update

Here the latest progress report. The car came back from the interior shop today. I have to do some mod's to the bucket seats in order to gain some leg clearance. Pretty happy with it so far though I may change the carpet color at a later time . Lookin forward to get this thing on the road soon.

Yes it will be there 2006 Bruce. Only if I can figure out the rear brake light circuit. It's a royal pain in the you know what.

Just found out that the kwik wire harness doesnt work well with a 67 vw column. I have to run another wire. Too bad all the wires I have installed are nicely hidden. What fun.

Joe , if your rear brake light problem involves difficulity in isolating the brake and turn signals , you can splice in a aftermarket trailer adapter the goes from 4 wires in to 3 wires out...if that is, your problem. Just run the hot , left and right signal wires up ther column and not anything else I have also had this problem on a street rod and pulled much hair before I figured it out

Alan I found a converter 2 wires input (turn signals) three wire out turn signals and brake . Draw-tite makes the adapter . I am starting to see light at the end of the tunnel with the exception of the windshield cracking.

I have been looking for a clock like the one in your post. Any suggestions on were I can pick one up?

Sorry K , I don't have a clock on the dash. Its an air fuel ratio gauge that you see.

Joe I can't wait to see your car on the road. It's gorgeous and thanks again for the steering hub, the wooden wheel looks and feels great. Although I now walk crooked, I can still drive straight.
