How about a picture or three, with the car's manufacturer and year, paint/top colors and where/when the pictures were shot? Extra points if it's a work in progress!
There used to be a thread like this here before, but this ought to be a good way to get a current idea of who's out there -- and maybe a sketchy idea of what the 2009 calendar will look like ...

Who's first?
Here is another brother IM Convertable D. A roadster kit bought in 82 by PO in Vancouver and she sat in his garage until 91 when he took it back to IM to finish (smart move) drove it for 12 years sold it Next PO had it for 4 years then I bought her in April 08 with under 14,000 miles in it. Put over a 1,000 miles on her since then with many more to come.
Specs:
1973 1776cc, dual kadrons, electronic ignition (pentronix?) 1969 pan w/4:11 IRS, front disk brakes rear drums, 4 bolt chrome Mangles 165r15 Cooper radials, Brown leather interior by IM, seats are 914, instruments are also from a 914. Stock German muffler. Chiffon White (a later 912 color)

The IM abides, Dude.

Cheers
Dave

The first turbo water cooled Intermeccanica. Delivered Sept 27, 2008. 1800cc VW/Audi engine with K03 turbo, big K&N filter, rear mounted Audi S4 intercooler, Magnaflow muffler, 911 front & steering, 944 rear suspension, front and rear sway bars, Konis all round, drilled disks all around, Porsche C2 wheels (16" x 6" in front and 16" x 8" in back) with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires, 915 5 speed transaxle, rear mounted fan augmented oil cooler, front mount radiator with dual fan controller, hot water heater with trunk mounted blower from Vintage, dove gray leather and blue German square weave interior, gray Hartz top, genuine Glasurit Porsche color of Nachtblau metallic, Marchal fog lights, H4 sealed beam headlights, Nardi wheel, iPod capable Blaupunkt radio.

First impressions:

Fast but very drivable. Push only happens at very high speeds in corners and is very gradual, throttle takes care of it easily.
Has been forgiving of my novice errors such as unloading the throttle in a tight corner.

Cruises at 70 in either 4th or 5th effortlessly. Acceleration to 100MPH (4th) seems very good.

2001 JPS with "mild" flares and a type IV 2367.
Pale Yellow glasurit paint.
Black top - never been driven with top up
Pictures are old but were shot at Mission Bay Park in San Diego.
Been driving it for near 8 years but it is currently - and always will be - a work in progress.

Built and delivered in December 2007, my Speedster is a Vintage Superwide body. Built on a 1969 VW pan with a 1915cc engine with external oil cooler, a freeway flyer transmission and IRS. Front disk brakes with 2.5inch drop spindles to get it down low. The color is what Kirk calls Cobalt Blue, but it's not what I would call "Cobalt." The interior is Camel with Tan carpet and top. I've put a little over 5,000 miles on it in less than a year and it's the most fun car I've ever owned; I love this car!
