Yup, 356B T5.  The body looks like a Roadster body (356A version called Convertible D), which was basically a Speedster with a taller windshield and roll-up windows.  I believe that they made only a few of those in the T5 body.Obviously the taller windshield part has been changed.

To be known as a Poopiehead is actually the highest honour (I know it has a u in it, but I'm Canadian, eh!), but I feel we just don't know each other well enough yet, although I'm sure that time will come soon enough, my friend!

I wish I could like this more than once. That made me laugh out loud Al. Funny you are.

Although I prefer the earlier pre A /A nose treatment and think it looks way cleaner than the later iteration (I know, I've told you this before!) I'm sure once it's built it will look great, as it does on the pics you've found. As Stan says, "it's a big tent, and there's room for all of us". Are you any further along in figuring out how it will be achieved?

Originally I was set on going with a black finish for the speedster. Lately I've fallen completely for this look though:maxresdefault

Another Emory creation. GT Silver. The 550 nose is so attracting. How can that be achieved with fiberglass?

Don't you guys remember the dude who was selling that partially finished replica with the B nose grafted onto it?

He tried to sell it like 3 times and each iteration was progressively worse? I think the last incarnation had orange scallops on a silver body?

I can't believe you guys forgot about that one...

Ted

I hadn't forgotten, Ted. I just figured when the conversation turned in this "B" nose direction that the entire project was turning into vaporware. It's one thing to want a car that somebody may be able to build for less than $100K, it's entirely another to want a car that exists only in the imagination of somebody who's "California Dreamin'".
