No photos for now. She needs a wash and it's still pissing down rain.
Remember, I live in British Columbia, so it probably won't stop raining until sometime in May. :-)
Going from power brakes and steering in my Miata to non-power brakes and steering in the IM is a real eye-opener. The brakes work well, but it takes a fair amount of pedal pressure. Also, the Miata's power steering is over-boosted and very quick. The Worm & Roller in the IM is, in comparison, on the slow side.
One thing that really surprised me was how stiff the IM's chassis felt. Like a vault!
My Miata is set up for the track, and over the last few years I've stiffened up the chassis to improve the handling. I live on a mountain and the road up to my house has a lot of tight curves and is in poor condition. Driving up the mountain last night the IM felt much more rigid than the Miata. I think having the truss bar and roll bar bracing installed has made a huge difference.
Time to go down and sit in the IM for a while and play with the stereo. I'm also going to try and find the knob that adjusts the lighting for the gauges (no, the pull knob for the lights doesn't turn).
