There is absolutely nothing wrong with Alante. In some ways it is better than leather and as you can see, it is nearly impossible tell it from leather just by looking at it. It's easy to care for and will last for a long time. So don't be concerned if it turns out to be Alante "replica" leather, after all the whole car is a replica! Very nice car.
FYI. Judging by the snaps on your dash, your tonneau was not installed by Vintage.
Robert, You called it.. Not leather.. At least the seller didn't tell me it was, totally my assumption.. You know what they say!
Troy, It is Alante, I'm actually not disappointed given I live a exceptionally dry HOT climate.. I'm sure this will have a longer life span than leather... And, as you mentioned it had me fooled. : )
Is that a bad thing that my tonneau wasn't installed by Vintage?
