The Twinkies 15 seconds of fame

If you remember a number of months ago, a guy named Gabriel was looking for a speedster for a photo shoot. well, at the time I registered the Ghia with his company, and yesterday it was used in a JC Penney commercial....shot in Bel Air ....If I get pic's as promised, I will post....

They were extremely nice, carte blanche to all the goodies, except the models of course....They had no idea who I was, but I didn't wear my satan hat of course....

Why didn't you wear the Satan hat? I would have! The last few fashion shows I've worked on, I've had people ask me who the designer was for my boonie hat. "Yew Ess Armi," I tell them, "It's an original." They don't get it. But most of the time I don't get fashion either.

Vince, I did a comercial for Kids Keds Shoes with my old 230 SL at a real cool house above the ocean in Malibu. Got to hang around most of the day doing nothing but eating off the Kraft foods catering and then they cooked up some Mahi for lunch. That industry is spoiled! Most of the crew worked maybe 1-2 hrs and just shot the shit and ate all day. I got paid $1,000. cash at the end of the day and cruzed on home all fat.

Markos, It was a cool experience but boring shortly after taking advantage of all the goodies.....I was hoping the girls would be modeling bathing suits or even underwear, I wanted to offer my grooming skills, but no luck....and I only got about half of your take for the two hours I was there....

Having checked out the twinkie at the SD Euro show last year I was very impressed. A really sweet KG lowlight. It is a perfect car for adds.
Its like it came out of a time machine and not many people have seen a KG ragtop anyway. Liable to start a mania for Ghias again.

Hope twinkie gets more work.
