If you put the BN4 behind the engine it would be very easy to exhaust and to port the heat output to the fan tubes going into the heat exchanger. Also the gas line is right there. That also eliminates the noise issue if you install it in the trunk.

Carl--nothin romantic about it. Alice got so cold that she got out of thge speedster and got into Dusty and Sharon's Escalade for some heat!
Now we're toasty!
My Espar is nestled up under the nose of my VS. It's protected from road debris there and a shorter run to the cabin. Cary's installation is definitely sanitary like everything he does!
Good lord Jack! What the hell are you doing up so early?
I'll admit that early Summer evenings in Flagstaff was sweater weather. Crisp, cool,...and I loved it.
What's amazing is how quickly you can slide down from that elevation into the Oak Creek Canyon at Sedona...an entirely different environment.
Go back to bed Jack. Old dudes like us need our sleep!
Carl...Could you post pics of you install under the nose. Exhaust is no problem and gas i right there. How do you vent the heat into the cabin?
I have decided to add the oil cooler temp valve as well as the heater path mod. Does anyone have a recommendation on which valve to use for this mod? I want the most reliable. I understand they open around 180f which should be perfect for my application, i.e. more heat. This is the last try before going for the BA4.
Here's a couple of choices from Aircooled.net:

Jack, I thought that Jake installed your heater for you?
