Yup, I own the silver one. It's in for a mysterious brake problem. Just discovered this shop as one of the few (and maybe only) one on Long Island that specializes in air cooled VW repairs. This is my first experience with them. They ain't cheap, but seem to know what they are doing.
There aren't many Speedsters on Long Island. Besides the red one shown here, I know of a black one on the north shore and seen a stone gray one on the road. Who are you and what's your car?
