Here a started list, as I think of or find more, I'll list them. If there is anything/any number of things that you want, lemme know here on the forum (to keep things easier) and we can then get together off line and come up with a price that works, OK?

Well, the little '55 Pre-A has left for a new home, gonna be rebuilt on top of a genuine '54 356 platform, ought to end up perfect.

-One pair of rear "cat's eye" tail lights. Repro bulb holders, genuine 356 SWF lenses, trim rings, and gaskets.

-Rear lid grill, for coupe but of aluminum so it may be possible to re-contour. Like new.

-Rear grill/bumper/plate surround badges. 356 Registry, ADAC, Touring Club, etc. Have one very special ADAC Golden Anniversay badge, this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-356-VW-BENZ-BMW-ADAC-50-YEARS-1903-1953-Badge-/350502383237?_trksid=p4340.m185&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC.NPJS%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUA%26otn%3D5%26pmod%3D300582286631%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4269615853604801174

Which is really too sweet for the rear deck lid grill, it needs to be on the dash.

-One original Meister Shaften dash plaque, really beautiful detail. And one repro Meister Shaften dash plaque. Like a shiny, cheap, cartoon. An amazing difference.

-One vintage ivory colored mushroom shift knob with the VW shift pattern cast into it. Tres' cool, don't know WHERE it came from but it's perfectly sweet.

-Two Pair of genuine 356 "PORSCHE" script for the front and rear.

-One gold 1600 script for the rear.

-One cloisonne Reutters Karosserie badge for the lower fender. The kind used on the early Speedsters.

-One cloisonne Karmann badge for the lower fender. The kind found on the later Cabs.

-One aluminum Reutters Karosserie badge for the lower fender. The kind that were on the very first Speedsters.

-Two pair of aluminum and rubber rocker panel trim spears with spear=to-body rubber gaskets. One really nice repro, the other really original.

-One set of aluminum body trim pieces with clips for the fenders and doors.

-One pair of aluminum threshold plates.

-One pair of AMCO/MG Mitten inner door sill carpet protector plates, made of a sort of diamond pattern aluminum. Vintage and strange, but cool . . . maybe . . . not sure yet.

-One pair of original 356C interior kick panel speakers with perfect chrome, original OEM cloth, speaker grills, and speakers still with original Blaupunkt labels on them.

-12 volt Blaupunkt Europa AM/FM/Short Wave radio. The nice looking one with the chromed surround and the "Blaupunkt lettering and the sliding pre-set stops on the front. Period perfect for a Speedster.

-One 356 Steering wheel horn ring and Porsche center crest. Also have a Golden Lady center crest to go along with.

-Twin left and right swan neck side mirrors, original, great condition.

-Two rear reflectors, housing, gaskets.

-Red lens rear fog light, similar to the 356C back up light and '67 Ghia reverse lights as well. I have a pair of body-to-bucket gaskets as well in case anyone wants to mimic the pre-historic 356 prototype coupes and roadsters and use rectangle tail lights and round blinkers.

-Two pair of fiberglass bumpers with the aluminum/rubber trim.

-One set of bumper brackets.

-One set of four "short-style" polished aluminum bumper over riders.

YIKES ! ! ! ! ! ? ! ? ! ? ! ?

Way too much interest all at once. I think that I'm going to take the Doctor's advice and re-post everything along with a beginning price to help out with the process. I figured that I could just "discuss" what you folks might want to pay after an email chat, but the parts/ad/mention is getting more response than ever expected.

I originally thought that by listing everything at once it might save the old, "Gee, I wish that I knew that you had that for sale earlier, I wouldn't have bla, bla, bla . . . " but it's making things more difficult rather than less so. Sorry for that, completely unintended. I just want to see if these things might find homes here first rather than deal with the usual 356 gang, you know?

Anyway, let me finish listing everything and do a quick cut-n-paste to get a beginning price on each and then get in touch and see where it goes from there, OK?

Thanks for the patience and hopefully, understanding, it's just SO darned nice to see a usually cut throat grab ass bunch of guys holding back and not jumping the gun by going direct to email communication in order to chop a buddy out of the loop. Gosh, you guys are just the sweetest ever.

Here's more grist for the mill . . .

-One blank Reutter Karosserie VIN tag for the driver's side door jam/hinge cover.

-One reproduction Otto Glockler Porsche Dealer's tag for placement above the Reutter's badge on the lower fender.

-One Touring Club of NEw England grill badge.

-One 356 Registry number plate surround.

-One pair of 356b Front blinkers, complete, near perfect.

-One 911 Porsche cloisonne hood crest.

-One horn button with small Porsche crest for MotoLita and LeCarra steering wheels.

-One "Blue Grass" region AAA auto club plate topper. Cool . . . in a skinny Elvis kinda way.

-One pair of dark red/maroon Vintage Roadster-style Speedster seats. For the guy with a but more real estate on his ass.

-One dark red/maroon latch and clasp seat belt out of an RAF fighter. Matches seat and is pretty cool and WAY VINTAGE but your wife is gonna complain about the lack of an inertial real . . . she ALWAYS DOES.
TC, I'm interested in a few things.
If you can remember whichever of the hood handles I sent you way back when, that might be nice to have back.
I'd like the aluminum sill covers, I'm interested in the fog-style red light (same as Lane) OR the fender lights you thought were MG.
Throw in a random cool grille badge to make a nice round dollar figure?
-One set of four repro cloisonne Porsche hubcap crests without the PORSCHE or STUTTGART lettering. Shield look real, but no lettering on 'em.

-Four repro wide five lug nipple-style 356 hubcaps, but weird. The nipple profile isn't correct and the Porsche crests are bubble top vinyl but DO have the PORSCHE and STUTTGART lettering on them. Crafty 'lil Canadians . . . always up to something.

-Aluminum Drum-Skinz for covering wide five VW drums (or rotors when used with four to five lug adapters) and making them look like the larger 356 item. Used, but still sweet. These things are just the perfect touch and really do make the VW drums look neat.

-356 Continental Coupe repro "Continental" side script. Reproduced around sixty years ago, polished brass, no bends or breaks, looks perfect. Pins need to be soldered on or trim tape used.

-One Karmann Ghia rear number plate light assembly, complete. Lots of the Outlaw builders are beginning to use these now, A smooth looking piece that blends in perfectly with the 356 rear sheetmetal. MUCH sharper than the angular cheaply chromed 356 repro item.

-One pair of 356B/356C front horn grills.

-One pair of quality reproduction Porsche 356B/356C outside door handles. No push buttons/keys, just the housings/handles. Have an extra original 356C handle with the button/key hole installed. Just have it keyed and transferred to the bare repro housing and you're on your way.

-One pair of 356 Coupe window frames and doors. Doors are rough, but could be used for repro coupe project. Chromed window frames look pretty good.

-One pair of 356 fold out rear quarter windows. Glass is bad, frames are good. Great for 356 coupe project.

-One 356B metal dash board. Rough, but under rep[air. Should have been finished by now, but . . . sell as-is. At least it has a nice radio indent area in the lower middle. Graft it onto a fiberglass Speedster dash, or put the whole dash into a repro Coupe or Cabrio project. Comes with glove box door and a few other pieces.

-356 dashboard switches. Lights, wipers, cigarette lighter, fog lights, etc. Switches and near perfect original 356 Porsche chromed bezels. They look a whole lot neater than the VW items. Add a set of genuine 356 dash knobs and really carry the day.

-full set of early and late 914 dash knobs and many of the dash switches as well. Several heater, foglight, defroster, driving light accessory knobs and switches as well.

-Three over-sized 914 aux gauges that fit the under-dash console.

-Two fuse and three fuse vintage fuse boxes as used on early 356s and VWs.

-One set of stainless mesh-style headlamp stone guards.

-One pair of chromed cast metal bar-style headlamp stone guards.

-Two pair of disassembled, cleaned, painted, restored headlamp assemblies. Really sweet, need reassembly. Complete with glass lenses and gaskets.

-Two 356 oil filter assemblies, restored, complete, new decals, filter, hoses. Comes complete with mounting bracket.

-One Porsche 356 oil filler assembly, restored. Working perfectly. Comes with original 356 generator stand to use as adapter piece to mount the 356 unit onto the VW generator/alternator stand. Easy conversion, but skill level number five or above to do it right.

More to come later today, thanks.
You can sit in them and try 'em out. I know that they're WAY more comfy than the little Speedster buckets. They fit the standard Vintage Speedsters perfectly, just gotta transfer the sliders over from your old seats I imagine.

Think of them as the automotive equivalent of elastic waist slacks, meeting the increasing needs of a quickly growing population.

PLUS they make you look slimmer, "Gosh Honey, that diet is really working. Just last week you could barely fit into the car, but now . . ."
More stuff . . .

-Rear equalizer bar for swing axle trans. Bolts under and over to axles and prevents "tuck-under" and that bizarre behavior that twisted Nader's nuts up into a bunch. Recommended for today's driving style for sure.

-Drilled out e-brake handles, like this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/handle2-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/handle1-1.jpg

I know that I one of these to someone, I've done up four of them already.

-Drilled out steering column heads/blinker assembly, like this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/housing7.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/housing5.jpg

-Drilled out shift knob, like this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/aluminumknob1.jpg

I have a small cloisonne Porsche crest that fits the top of it, looks REALLY sweet, but only for the right car and probably only with a drilled out blinker assembly or at least column tube.

-One pair drilled out and painted inside door handles, like the one in this pic to the left, next to the Karmann badge, on the saucer;

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G14.jpg

-Two small accessory VDO gauges (with black faces/green numerals matching the 356 gauges) the ones in these photos:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G6.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G12.jpg

One gauge to measure AMPS, the other for Oil Pressure. Both are perfect and rare.

-Here are a couple of pics of the seats and seat belt, just found them:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G9.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G8.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G7.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/G1.jpg

-A few knobs that have light up lenses/bulbs in place.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/Sknob3.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/Sknob1.jpg

Can be wired as Emergency 4-way flashers or constant-on fog lamp switches depending upon whether you use a flasher relay in the wiring or not. I have a small handful of 'em but can make more or variations if wanted/needed. Lemme know.

-Two fuel filters/water separators restored and dressed out to mimic the Porsche factory race items:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/Hfilter1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/Hfiler2.jpg

Very sweet for the right engine bay or front trunk area, depending upon where you've placed the fuel pump . . . of course.

-Dual oil filter mount.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/dualoil1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/dualoil3.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/dualoil2.jpg

This might be too hard core for some of you, best ask your wife or girl/boy friend if you can have one first.

-I really don't like painting these:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/bug2-2.jpg

But I will . . .

-VOLKSWAGEN lettering in polished aluminum, beautiful, that mimics the delicate underlined gold PORSCHE lettering on the front and rear of the 356. This VW lettering is from a split window VW bus and is in wonderful condition. Polished. Perfect.

-all three original 356 Pre-A dash board warning lights. These were arranged differently across the dash of the early Speedsters, but are the same item. Super rare, might not be worth if for most reproductions, but . . . with an original blinker assembly, steering wheel, and gauges. Who knows.

-Original pull-style knob, cable, bezel, and housing for early Speedster wiper assembly. Also have wiper motor/assembly as well as the wiper arms and bases. Complete except for rubber blades.

-Pair of original chromed windshield washer "squirters." Super rare, complete little units.

-Original 356 floor mount headlamp dimmer switch.

-Original Pre-A 356 polished aluminum trim ring for reserve gas tank lever switch. Makes a cool key fob. Only the extreme insiders will know what it is . . .

-Original 356B/356C under-dash ash tray. Pretty much perfect, even has brown plastic sheet that fits between dash bottom and tray housing top.

More listed tomorrow, gotta go make some meatloaf for sandwiches. Hate it hot, but LOVE it cold and loaded. Weird. Must be a high school cafeteria thing . . .

TC,

If you put all the original 356 items in ebay with sharp photos you can buy yourself a new car, maybe a nice old wooden Hereshoff yawl..

Those fuel filters are awesome, BTW, and if you restored them you've got a talent.

Get some pricing ideas in there, eh?

I wouldn't mind the wide five wheels, but the price to ship would keep them from being worth buying from you, I think.
Funny, I hadn't thought of my old girlfriend or her Hereshoff in SO long . . . I dated, nearly married, a girl back in the 80's who was an avid sailor, she moored her Hereshoff on the Bass River down the Cape. Used to call it her day sailor. When I think of that long, long road between then and there and here and now, I'm surprised that I made it.

No regrets. None at all, but I'm still waiting for something really interesting to happen . . .
Just a few pics. I'm making these for my MGA project, they're VW items, I'm trying to keep as much Abingdon out of the MGA as possible.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/wiper3.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/wiper2.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/wiper1.jpg

Anyway, I usually re-make a bunch of the same part whenever I do them for one car or another. Sometimes I need one or two practice tries, sometimes . . . well . . . I really have no control and can't help myself. If anyone wants a pair of either, I'll have extras soon.

So far, I'm still listing what I want to sell, if I begin answering questions and shooting pics it'll all fall apart. Once everything is listed and I have a chance to look at the list, some of the things might be best offered in some sort of a package format such as the emblems for the front and rear along with the hood handle and crest, you know? Jumping around between listing and pricing and such is gonna turn it all into too much of a task. It might even make sense to offer everything as a lot or split into two, even. Don't really even know WHAT to ask for some of it . . . for right now, I'm listing everything I have but don't need, still more to come, THEN the pricing and answers and dealing and delivery. I shudder at the thought of the shipping/delivery, still hoping against hope for the discount all in one deal to make things easier.

Hey Gordon ! ? ! ? ! Aren't you building something? You're always looking for stuff, aren't you? And you close enough to come by with a truck.

Also, I don't have any aftermarket shifters at all right now, I usually make my own. Love the basic mechanics of the Scat Drag Fast, but the top lever and cable arrangement of the Black Mamba is damned sexy and impossible to ignore. I combine both assembly-styles and use the B&M ratchet shifter base plate and t-pin fastener set-up. Next time I finish one, before I hand it off, I'll snap pics.

Slick and precise, but a whole long way from vintage looking. Last one had a mushroom top dump truck shift knob on it with a stock electric over-drive switch turned "on-off" nitrous button. All painted up dark cream and it STILL didn't look at ALL vintage.

-Found a couple of pics of the original 356A horn ring, one with the Porsche crest (I have two Porsche crests, neither is perfect) and the other pic with the new repro Golden Lady crest.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/83fc0b8c.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/6ae8682f.jpg

-Original 356A Coupe rear deck lid. Cool for fiberglass coupe project.

-Window frames with wind wings for 356C doors.

-Pair of KYB GR-2 front shocks.

-Genuine German number plate. Long thin style with tax disk attached, similar to this:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/barry_432/346471598/

-Two set of VW switches, all perfect with knobs and bezels.

-Found two more rear 1600 badges in gold along with another set of PORSCHE front and rear script.

-Small Porsche 356 fuel gauge converted to 12 volts with Karmann Ghia internals. 356 face, pointer and bezel, VW mechanism. Works best with Beetle or Karmann Ghia tube-style sender.

-Small 356 dash knobs and two prong switches. Used for wipers, dash lights, auxiliary switches, fog lights, etc.

-Original 356 Pre-A dash center pod and aluminum trim surround. Looks like those that came in the split window Beetles and Barn Door Buses, but MUCH better made with a sturdier, more complicated surround. Rare and cool.

-Barn door bus center dash pod insert. Knobs included, switches are in pieces.

-A pair of headlamp assemblies like these, but without the holes.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/hlight3.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/TeamEvil/hlight2.jpg

-Brand new, still in bag, VW Beetle pedal assembly. No pedal pads on them, but I betcha I have a set somewhere . . .

-VW roller-style gas pedal kit.

-Porsche 914 steering wheel with center horn section. I had it in my 1968 Bus, fits certain year VWs, Beetles and otherwise.
Oh, come on now . . . I got a ton of stuff here, just gimme two more days, will ya ? ! ? ! ? ! ? !

-Four genuine ANSEN kidney bean-style alloy wheels for the four lug Beetle. 15 x 5.5 inches.

-A pair of gray Roadster-style VINTAGE bucket seats.

-Air-conditioning unit for a Karmann Ghia. Dealer option, minus compressor and evaporation canister (which would be replaced by modern components anyway) but includes under-dash housing w/radiator air exchange, switches, relays, ducting, brackets, fuse block bracket, and vents. Fits entirely under dash and looks like it was factory designed and installed. Very clean. Could be adapted to Speedster if you're clever and can work with fiberglass.

-Pair of Oval Window Beetle tail light assemblies, complete.

-Repro Oval Window Beetle rear view mirror and sun visor mount.

-Front heavy-duty sway bar, urethane bushings, stainless band-style clamps.
