Thinking about making a few top frames | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I want it to be more original. I see how the real ones work and have seen the build mango has done. Depending on how the first one comes out would anyone else be interested in a top like this? I was thinking of making a few of them if there was interest. Not sure on cost yet as I would have to figure out cost of materials. I am in San Diego so hopefully there are some of you guys close because I am not sure how to ship these.

If anyone has any ideas or tips let me know I am all ears. I like Mangos version as I bet most people would want something simple to install and the way he did it you could pretty much bolt it in and go.

I see you used 3/8 inch wide but what was the thickness of it?

Hmm from what I see it looks like you are using 1/8x3/4 flat bar
