So yesterday I'm out in the Speedster cruising along the coast and eventually stop for some lunch. I find a great spot in the parking lot and as I start walking way from the car, I turn and take a parting glance at the car and think to myself... Dang, this never gets old!!

So, this is the third year in a row that I have stored my Intermeccanica off site.  I have to admit that there was a little separation anxiety the first year.  But since I can't drive the car for 4-5 months, out of sight is kinda out of mind (a little bit anyway).  Plus, it's just in the way of the snow blower and I give up the spot so the kids can park inside sometimes.

Jim, like always your car looks badass!

Jim, I've always admired the many photos (and videos) you've posted on this forum of that beautiful Speedster and since I finally got one too I better understand exactly where you are coming from.   For example.  Since getting one myself I usually begin the day by singing in the shower like Luciano Pavarotti which is something I never did before.   I also smile and laugh a lot more than before.

Bottom line, what is it about a Speedster not to like?  It's got to be more than just part of the madness but what ever it is, I love everything about it.

Hey Cliff, or should I say Luciano, what is her name?  After all that singing she's has to be a girl and what is her name?  ...Mine "Sabrina"  I bet most of us have given our cars some feminine name ... just saying..

Ray, yes she has a name but it's not as sexy as it probably should be.  Her name is "Pug" after a breed of dog that has a short muzzled face and a compact body with well developed muscles.  In Latin they've been described by the phrase "multum in parvo" or "a lot of dog in a small space" alluding to their remarkable and charming personality, despite its small size. They are very sociable but like a woman also vivacious and teasing.  Incidentally, one was actually judged Best in Show at the World Dog Show.
