You know, that's the fourth or fifth seller I've seen lately who's "no longer accepting Pay Pal........What's the scoop?
They are fools to "no longer accept Paypal". I gladly pay their fees and it definitely increases bids. I won't buy something if I can't use Paypal. Period.
I haven't had any trouble using Paypal either, but I don't keep a balance in my account. But there are some nightmares with them. They are the judge, jury and executioner as far as disputes go and have been known to burn some innocent people at the whim of another's word. there's more here: www.paypalsucks.com.

A lot of this is bad press. For instance the person that is listed as the owner of PayPal sucks is a cabinet maker in Tucson. Maybe he got ripped off with a stolen card? Or his buyer backed out of a deal. Then there ia another website that claims to be aware of PayPal is a company that does credit card transactions. I have bought a car (ghia), computers, parts and more over the last few years.
If you are buying with a legit card you have protection. I believe only a little that I see on the net now. If a company is big enough to stay in business that means more to me than a 12 year old with a website.

Thanks ! ! ! But I'm kind of off Ebay/PayPAl right now.
I've stoped using PayPal and Ebay entirely after being an ardent supporter! They have currently been hacked, my account included, but NEVER tell the general populace when it happens. All you get is a sneaky little "item number has been removed from auction" or unauthorized use of your account" kind of notice and you say, "WAIT I never bid on bla, bla, bla" and there's an unconnectable link and nowhere to turn for info.
When I emailed them they assured me all three times that it was the internal Bidders/Users Fraud program at work, but the fact still remains that somebody HACKED THEM! My card, my info, my life and livelyhood, now hacked open. I would think that they would be required to let me know in a more precise manner about the details, but there are VERY FEW laws currently in place concerning the internet.
It's a little like the Wild West, they want it settled and populated, before coming in with a set of laws to govern the users and general public.
My rant, my opinion. Just be careful out there . . .
