CIP wheels are on sale right now - what do you guys think? too outlaw?

I LIKE THE CURRENT VERSION
Not too outlaw, just too dark for the lightness of the paint.
I'd stick with the original ones...the black is just to much distraction from your car's
beautiful paint job/colour.
Another vote for the current wheels.
Ron
Definitely as you were. IMO.
I agree with the crowd...
Same here - with the possible (and all to obvious) exception of painting the wheel to match the body.
Current. Love the paint color....
Stay current... there's a time and a place for murdered out wheels but it's not on your car
I think it might be the colors clashing
Not to be different to be different, but I like that black... Looks very tough...
You hit a home run already. there is no 5th base. Leave it alone.
For a Mister Hyde to your Dr. Jeckell,
Lose the bumpers and run the blackies.
An outlaw on par with Scott Sloan's IM.
Can't get better than that, Mango.
Paul, since the evolution of the "new" forum, I have not been able to train myself to follow some of the discussions as well as I used to...with that said, I take it you have finished up with the new top bracket and have moved on to painting wheels now?
I think he went down that road last year.
Yeah.
The return of the Twinkie.
ya - i have an extra set of whitewalls / smoothies i though that i'd love. a little too something - or not enough something...

i find it hard to follow threads too and i am an internet junky. something about the colour scheme i think
but - ya, i'm finished the vert frame and luggage rack:
one more who likes your tub just the way it sits now.
Black wheels are awesome on a light car! Go for it!

Are those real whitewall tires or portawalls?
I like the silver wide fives you have now. To me, they look more traditional and subtly badass.
Once you go black you...
know the rest! I like it.

real firestones 5.60
MangoDude-
The current look is awesome. I think the 'tres outlaw' look of the black wheels would look better by losing the bumpers and inserting black nerfs!
Nothing wrong with having a few pairs of shoes to suit your mood.
I have 3 dif sets I swap in and out of...
I like your Speedster! The Stance is perfect low and cool!
aloha, Kawika55
Photoshop off the bumpers and let's look!
I'm too preoccupied to do this Photoshop work right now, maybe in the future if Mango-man wants to see it. After all, it's his car.
Now, throw the black wheels on her!!
damn you guys!!
i couldnt help myself, so i lowered it more.
this thing makes my car look like a sissy...
I think it makes it look pretty agrressive... but not street friendly...
A recent tire inquiry brought me back to this thread because your car is the lowest tub I've seen thus far.
Do you mind me asking what size tires you are running on your tub?
I'm at a 185/65/15 all around and it rubs a bit at full turn. That's not the problem though, the problem is I want to lower my car about 2 inches more all around and I'm sure those 185's are going to give me a problem.
Here's the car in question. What tire size you think I should go with and can I get away with just replacing the fronts? (would like to keep the 185's on the rear)
So far I've come up with the possibility of running a 145/65/15 or a 175/55/15, although the 175 might still rub.
Christian,We'd like to see more pictures of your car. Will you eventually be going for the "outlaw"look?
