Hey Guys

I got my engine installed ready to go but have run into a issue with the throttle cable.   I installed a cross bar linkage and it appear that the higher angle of the throttle cable coming out of the fan shroud up to the linkage arm is creating a binding issue.  The cable is having issues returning to the closed position.  Have any of you run into this situation and if so have a solution?

Thanks

Hmmmmm.........

How long are your carb-to-hex-arm adjustable links?  CB sells two lengths, a 3-5/8" (3320) and a 5-7/8" (3321).

If you have the longer links installed, it might push your throttle cable arm up higher than you want it.  If you install the shorter links, the throttle arm will come down quite a bit (2+ inches?) and might fit the cable tube angle better.

If that doesn't work, then the cable roller Wolfgang suggested might be the way to go.
