I always knew that I wanted the car a different colour and after watching chassing classic cars and looking at the 356 Carerra GT, I saw it.........Non Metallica Aquamarine blue.
Where the hell has this colour been all my life? The Exterior colour goes perfectly with the tan interior that I want to do on the inside...........and the best is, there aren't too many cars with this colour........

That would definitely be sharp. That isn't a real Carrera, is it? The bumper trim is wrong, the under door trim shouldn't be there (I think) and there's no torsion bar cover hole.
I only used that pic for the colour.........no idea on the authenticity of the car in question.
I absolutely agree with you. I've been in a battle between metallic and non-metallic for mine. Now that it's getting to be time for paint, I've gone the way of the metallic. Good choice, hope you make the switch. It looks even better in person.
That is a fabulous blue! Last time I painted a car I changed my mind a dozen times. Wish I had several to paint, but like you I prefer some of the less seen colors. There is something said for being a little different, as long as the car is for you. On the other hand if I was painting for a spec car to be sold, I'd go red, black, or silver.
That is THE color that I want if I ever do another Speedster. I love that.
Mike Benet here in Peoria had almost that exact color combo on a VS and it was just beautiful. Screamed 1957!

Is it also Known as Fiord blue ? sure looks close to it . I prefer the non metallic's easier to match if you need to touch it up.

Early VW Beetle colors look close to the photo and will look great on a speedster .
Look in your 356 color charts it's there. REALY! I can't say a lot about non factory colors MINE IS A GENERAL MOTORS YELLOW BEIGE.. But it does look great on old yeler

Here's the color on a real Carrera at the Amelia Island Concours in 2013. Same car maybe? To my knowledge, the trim is correct...
