PEOPLE OF EARTH!...and SOC knuckleheads as well...
It is time for another SoCal cruise. I'm thinking another cruise through the backroads of south Orange County (Trabuco, Black Oak and Silverado Cyn) ending with a picnic lunch at a local park and homeward bound on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Depending on the date I would be interested. Would be coming up from San Diego. Maybe other SD arfoil folks would want to caravan up.

I'm headed for Monterey next Thurs. also. I will be back after the Pebble Beach Concours weekend. Love to do a cruise after that! I'll see Vince and Troy up coast!

Vince, I have always considered the '57 T'bird, along with the '63 T'bird Sport Roadster, among the best looking Fords ever built. That is one gorgeous car.
It is my wife's favorite....although she prefers dusk rose (pink)
For those wanting to do this cruise, which of these 2 dates would be BEST for you participate;
Saturday, August 18th...or...Saturday August 25th?
Saturday with most participants is the day we do the cruise. Peace-Out!
Cruise Trip Sheet (this is not limited to Speedsters, its a "run what you brung" event);
1. 10:00 AM - rendezvous in Mission Viejo, Orange County (Target parking lot, La Paz exit off I-5)
2. 10:30 AM - depart rendezvous location
3. Cruise backroads/canyons (time about 2 hours)
4. 12:30 - stop in local park for lunch (that you've packed in your cooler).
5. 1:30-2:00 - leave park for Pacific Coast Hwy via Newport Coast Drive and homeward destination.
25th work for me
Either date works for me though the 18th would be better.
I will be interested, but my sister and family is in town. Maybe the 25th will be better, but I need to check their schedule.

As it turns out I have a Car Show Saturday the 25th in El Segundo, but perhaps it can work
depending on where you are going....
If your plan was to do the Rudder room, and meet at the usual Topanga location, then You
could cruise thru El Segundo (by LAX) and pick me up along the way...
If the plan is for a cruise in the O.C. then I guess I'm out....

I meant to keep this cruise in South OC so that SOCers from San Diego county could take the opportunity to join in on a day cruise.

OK, whose in for this cruise through OC canyons & back roads? Saturday Aug 25th. The number of responses may alter the rendezvous location closer to majority participants.
