Any speedie owners who are closet NASCAR fans ?

Tom, I'm a big fan of racing in almost any form. I've been to Daytona for "bike week" many times. NASCAR fills the void when football ends. I get a kick out of watching the cars on road tracks like Watkins Glen or Laguna Seca coming down the hill into a corkscrew corner. IMO , the camera work has made all racing watchable even by people who aren't crazy about it. Have fun in Daytona , and don't try to organize a wet T shirt contest at the Boot Hill Saloon. You will go to jail.

al if you love them on a road course, this june the nationwide series that used to be the busch series , one step below cup series, will be at road america, this wil be a blast to watch or better yet go to, because , its 4 miles one lap around. bill

I sometimes watch NASCAR beause I don't get the Speed Channel - which seems to have a franchise on all the rest of the "road" racing series.

Anybody seen "Mad House" on one of those reality TV channels? They cover the lives of some rednecks who race semi-pro stock on small oval tracks. Right out of the Hatfield-McCoys when it comes to trash talk.

I gotta get the Speed channel . . . . and Ti-Vo!
