For a 2000 Vintage Speedster, I'm in the process of changing from the 4 lug wheel setup to a 5 wide (5-1/2 wheels) Outlaw or Carrera setup.
I'm curious to learn the brand of 185R60-15 tires that others are running. I was considering the Pirelli P4s (Tire Rack), but have had some bad luck in the past with Pirelli's and tread separations.
As always, any input would be appreciated.

P185/60R15 Yokohama AVID TRZ tires.

Yes, I was just speaking with Mango regarding his tires. Tire Rack no longer has that exact Yokohama tire available but something similar which is probably it's replacement...
I have Yokohama 185/60R15 TOURING, and no complaints, but I haven't put many miles on them...as yet

I'm surprised you're going with a 185/60, rather than a 185/65. Wouldn't the 60 series size throw your speedo out of whack?

What Ron's saying is it's just a little short; the 185/60 is 23 3/4" tall vs the closer to stock height 185/65 (24 1/2").
one thing we should mention on tire sizes - just because it fits the rim - doesn't mean it will fit under the fenders.
the rear on a non-flaired body, especially with IRS is pretty tight. a 165 is what most run.
i narrowed my rear 3" and font 3.5" to run my setup.
It's all about offset.
I'm running a 6.0" wide wheel, with a 37mm offset. With serious camber my rear tires 'just' clear the fender on the passenger side. Like many pan based 356 replicas, clearance is not the same from side to side.
You can go wider (both rim and tire) on our cars, but finding a wheel with a 45+ mm offset is not easy.
