I have a Vintage Speedster with 185-65-15's and need to know correct air pressure. Thanks

Do a search here for "tire pressure"...
I run 18-20 up front (it's a VERY light car) and 28 in the rear.
Anywhere from 18 to 23 in the front and 26 to 30 in the rear. Try various pressures until you find one you like.
If I remember correctly I run 23/28 in my IM.
It's actually in the VS Owner's Manual (available to contributing members) in the SOC Library. It says 22 PSI front and rear.
I run 20 all the way around and its a little spongy. I think 23 / 28 is a good combo.
Thanks for the great info. Just picked up my car Sat. and it was running 30/32. I don't have the owner's manual but knew this was too much. Vintage website says 22/22, that seemed low in the rear. So after this feedback and a search, I've got a good place to start! Love the car.
Too much pressure will wear out the tread in the middle plus give you a very harsh ride. To little pressure will wear out the tires at the edges. Just right for your car will give a good ride plus make the tires wear evenly.
On road trips we are loaded heavy and I use 24 front and 27 rear. Around town when not loaded I use 23 front and 25 rear, Seems to work ok for my car. Check your air pressure frequently!
OMG.... Great reminder. I have not checked my tire pressure in about 3 years.
.
I think it really depends on the tire size somewhat. I have 165r15s and absolutely hate running it at lower 22/24 pressures. After a lot of experimenting I run at 25/27 usually, and the ride is just fine.

The owner's manual can be found here on the SOC forum:

Enjoy the ride. I just picked up mine last Friday.
And as the guys say here on the forum...Welcome to the Madness.

Tire size figures a lot into the equation; a bigger volume tire will require less air pressure to be properly inflated than a smaller volume tire on the same car.
I just hate a 78 or 80 sidewall and how gooey it feels at a low pressure, but I don't have room myself to go 185 anything. With that 65 sidewall maybe 22-23/25-
26 would be just fine.
I'm told that if you mark across the tread with chalk and then drive a short distance it will show when the pressure is just right.
