Tire size 195/55/15 on a Vintage?

Anyone run this size? Have any pictures of the look on the stock chrome wheels? Particular tire you recommend?

I know from reading others posts, I can make a 195/60/15 work, but really interested in seeing what the 195/55 looks like.

I am running 185's with spacers on the front and 195's on the rear.

Seems to me and correct me if I'm wrong, but a 55 profile is just going to be a little lower than a 60 and I'm not certain you'd even see much difference... just another more modern look, sorta more wheel, less tire. Is that what you're striving for?
Butch runs 195 60 15. The wheels on recent photos are the chromies, painted out black.

Gabriel, are those 60 or 55 series tires. Hard to tell for sure from photos, but they look like 60 series.

The reason I was interested in 55 series is it is the first range you can get more performance oriented tires. I had considered 50 series, but thought they would be too small and did not want to change gears.

Anyone else have experience/photos with this size tire (195/55/15)
