title and registration.

I am looking for info 356 replica registration . Problem is i bought a 1956 spec const titled 356 on a vw pan , it is titled in arizona.
I live in Ca, They only alow 500 or so a year. I have missed the deadline.Is there a way to get the vw title re instated. Short of reg this in another state what do you do.

California registers autos by the chassis or pan if you have a VW pan it's an easy issue...AAA can do it in a flash.....
