Greg works out of the shop formerly occupied by Vintage Speedsters and employs many of VS' former workers. They've continued some of VS' construction conventions.

On the steering column, hidden just out of sight under the dash (not mounted in the dash), is where VS used to put their (optional) ignition cutout switch. It was supposed to be an anti-theft device.

Start the car to make sure everything is working OK, turn the key off, then throw the toggle switch and try to start it again. If it won't, you've found the ignition cutoff switch.

It's also handy when first starting the car after it's been sitting for a few weeks. Throw the switch and crank the engine until you see the oil pressure light go out. Then flip the switch on and you'll have a little more oil where it's needed when the engine does fire.
