👋 I’m the new caretaker of Tom’s 356 Coupe. I believe this will be one of the better or unique 356 Coupe’s out there do to the stainless steel tube frame and independent suspension. The car is currently in Studio222 ready for build. After inspecting the car I have discovered some frame damage from the PO trying to fit the EJ251 motor into the frame. So step 1 Is redesign/reinforce the rear frame to properly fit the Subi motor.. 🔧🔧

?
@Studio222 : perhaps it’s because I’m looking at the pic on my phone; but it looks like there is some fairly significant front end damage. Hence the “OUCH!”
I’m hoping it’s just an illusion...looking closer it seems it’s a reflection of the sun and clouds in the sky?
@Studio222 i hope you are not around simi.....the folks will think we are the same guy.... just teasin' .... seriously though... once complete....our cars will be twin sons from different mothers.....it's gonna be a neat car

I think you meant Todd? But that was based on his screen name so there's no telling for certain.

Good luck with the build!
What did the PO did do to install a Suby ? Any pic's of the problem or how you fixed it ?
Some rear frame tubes were cut to make way for the Suby engine. I'm guessing the forward-facing throttle body was the problem. Remember, the car was originally built to be electric.
