Way cool Jim. Thanks.

My Dad started in the RV business in 1966 with 4 pop-up trailers. In 1967 he added travel trailers from a relatively new company - Coachmen. They had started in 1964. We have been a dealer for them ever since and are currently the oldest dealer they have - 40 years in 2007. In 1964 Coachmen built 14 travel trailers. In one of our buildings we have one of those 14 awaiting restoration. These photos have me fired up to get that project going - opps . . . better wait until my Coupe is done before I get off on another tangent.

Thanks again for the pictures - I am trying to convince Coachmen to come out with a retro looking micro-lite travel trailer. Since they own Shasta and have stopped building them - it would be a great way to honor the name -complete with the old wings - and capitalize on the nostalgic trend we see with all the old is new again cars coming out these days.
