Many years ago I bought a box of 500 6" tongue depressors for $5.40. I still have about half of them left.

They are useful for a lot of things - stirring small cans of paint, mixing epoxy or Bondo, forming a nice radius where you have epoxy or Bondo at a 90-degree intersection, etc..

Starting small fires, splints for ground hogs, cheap house siding, .....

You can even use them as tongue depressors

ive JB Welded them to my Webers to keep the brass thingies from falling off.

I can just see some of my mechanical designers doing that back in the day. That's better than filling someone's office with balloons or wrapping everything in aluminum foil!

That is a lot of sticks. Very cool video. I wonder how long it took to set that up.

In the comments on YouTube he said it took about 16 hours over a couple days.
