i was wondering, when the top is folded down, are there supposed to be straps that go around the top. i thought i saw pictures of a top that had the header bow( the part that meets the windshield-i think thats what its called) folded upwards resting on the rest of the top. mine just lays forward covering the rear seat. thank you.

At least with my car came an extra tonneau cover (I think they call it 1/4 tonneau). If you know it's not going to rain on you you just put the top down and unsnap all the buttons from the back part. In its place snap the cover on; this is the part that has the dual velcroed straps that support the rolled up top, which of course, just stays in its place except for the buttons.
