top bow help

I have never had the bows in my top and never had the top on the car.
Can anyone give me a little knowledge. I have one hole in each side of the car that it looks like the bows bolt into. No bolts so I don't even know what size or thread they are. One of my bows has 2 holes in each one and the other has one in each end. Can someone explain to me what the configuration on the bows is. I don't even know which bow goes in which pocket of the top.
