We have tickets for two concerts in Paso Robles on the 9th and 11th, so we are out for that weekend.

I am taking a preliminary survey to gauge the interest in a 2021 Tour d' Hoe. I am looking at the weekend after Labor Day 9/10 -13. That is the beginning of the tourist slow down for Lake Tahoe. Current thinking is to use the same Beach Hotel we did a few years ago. Plan a drive up from Auburn or Placerville on Friday Morning maybe a wine tasting on the way. Depending on the drive some free time at the Hotel and Beach followed by dinner on your own. Saturday I am thinking a drive to Virginia City and lunch at one of the old saloons. The drive to Virginia City involves a couple of old hill climb courses. With the return trip down Giegers' Grade and back over Mt. Rose into Lake Tahoe. Then an evening group dinner at the Hotel. Possibly a Sunday event with a private tour of the George Whitell Thunderbird Lodge. Interesting piece of history if you want to look it up.

Right now I am looking for your thoughts. We need to move quickly to secure Hotel Rooms

Unfortunately we will have to pass if the Tour goes the week end of September 10 - 13.

That week-end covers September 11 and I anticipate being involved in memorial ceremonies that Saturday.

Keep us posted if there is any interest in a date change as we’d love to get up there and get together with everyone after missing the SLO Cruise this year!

Man, that looks like Great time! Beautiful scenery,nice roads, cool cars to bad I live so far away or I would definitely be there!! We have some family in Tahoe it is Beautiful there. You guys should stop at one of the Red Hut Cafes and have breakfast it’s good! My cousins Rick & Kelly own them.

We love the Red Hut Waffle Shop on South Shore and have eaten there many times, including after the last Tour d' Hoe.

I'm interested.
