A few weeks back, our daughter-in-law announced her pregnancy (this will be my son and her 4th). She's due in mid-September, and we'll be watching her other kids.

This rules out the UK (and perhaps Georgia), but I'd think I'm closer to getting there than I would have been in the absence of this news.

We'll have to see when the baby comes, and how long we'll have the grandkids afterward.

Stan, I got a TON of flak for going to Carlisle as my daughter was about to deliver our first grandson.  As it turns out, we were 1-1/2 weeks ahead of the moment.  Still got the hairy eyeball for a long time after, though.

Then, a few years later, both Chris and I got a TON of flak for going to Carlisle as my daughter-in-law was about to deliver her and Chris' first (we were a week ahead - Again!)

Still.......   Carlisle is a lot closer than the UK and England will always be there, history and all.  In the meantime, you can watch some of those BBC murder mysteries on the PBS channels.

Stan's talking about North GA, not Carlisle.  That said, howzabout you and Kathy come this time?
