i have a 1961 356b that i would like to trade for a spyder.
my car is not worth $25,000 so trading for somthing new or
perfect is not an option. what im looking for is an unfinished,
or an older 550 with miles or wear&tear. im in new jersey so
an east coast trade would be nice. if you would like to see my 356
or read her little story go to www.356registry.org/members/shotwell/
if you can help me out please e-mail or call me @ 732-688-6789

SORRY IF I SOUND A LITTLE SNIP.
I KEEP GETTING E-MAILS AND CALLS FROM PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KNOW
"HOW MUCH". AND I HAVE TO TELL THEM THAT I LOVE MY 356,
AND WOULD ONLY GET RID OF HER FOR A 550.
AS I STATED ABOVE; MY 356 IS NOT WORTH $25,000.
$25,000 IS THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR A BECK OR VINTAGE.
SO I NEED TO GET AN UNFINISHED 550, OR A VERY USED ONE
AT BEST.PROBLEM IS UNFINISHED OR DAMAGED 550S ARE VERY
HARD TO COME BY. SO IF I SOLD MY 356 WITH OUT A 550
TO BUY I WOULD BE UP A S#*TS CREEK. IF YOU FIND ME WHAT IM
LOOKING FOR I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SELL MY 356 TO YOU.
BUT MOST PEOPLE WILL NOT GO THAT FAR OUT OF THEIR WAY.
SO TILL THAT 550 IS FOUND OR I COME ACROSS AN EXTRA $10,OOO
I DIDNT KNOW I HAD,MY AD WILL READ "TRADE"
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME. -DAN
hey guys,
aarons right. shes the real deal.
the reason i think shes worth around 15k is
i did all the work myself. the gaps are not perfect,
and the # matching motor is locked up under my
workbench. ive got a 1600 stocker in her now.
other-wise shes a real sweet porsche.
got her from her only owner too.
she could be yours for one of those spyders =)
Dan,
I will call you and we can talk about a TRADE, I have 3 550 Spyders, two are completed and one work in progess. The 3rd one is in it's last stages of completion. Has a Formula Vee setup on a tubluar frame,VDO Gauges, Momo steering wheel, short plexiglass window.headlights and taillights, I have lots of different seat in my shop to copy ,.....things left to do, fiberglass interior walls, cut doors and install hinges, have it wired now to run the engine, complete wiring harness later, then paint and last of all the interior.

I also have a 356 Coupe but it's and A, do you still have the original B bumpers? I live in Manhattan for the summers, however my cars are in Cancun Mexico. Check out my webpage.... www.dominickonline,com This would take some doing but is possible. Hyber runs a boat from Ft Lauderdale to Cancun ( Pto Moreles) ever week. It would cost us each $700.00 to ship them.

Let me know if this is of any interst Dan,
Dominick
