Hello Everyone

I have a 65 VW that i just strip down to the pan ready to make the trip to LA ( Vintage Speedster ) to shorten the pan after the holiday are over. My question is can i use the stock tranmission and axels for my project if i build a 2100cc motor for my car? Any suggestion are helpful.

Thanks

When you cut the pan, the approx 11 inches are removed from the rear foot? battery area, so that does not affect either the front seat-forward or back seat-to rear areas. Since rear suspensions and motor/transaxle mount areas are unaffected, you can use any motor or trans that would typically mount up to your stock mounts. The motor, well the sky is the limit......or your pocket book, which ever limits out first.
