Tree House Brewing in Central Massachusetts has grown from a very small operation in an old barn ten years ago to several breweries and a total of six sites around the state, all with themes to fit the history of their locations.

Yesterday they had a Cars and Coffee at the main brewery, so Chris and I got a small caravan of Porsches to drive out for the first ever PCA C&C event there.  There were about 200 Porsches there and exactly three 356's, all replicas - My CMC, Bill Pickering's IM and a JPS built in 2018, now on it's second owner and has all of 800 miles on it (unfortunately, the new owner doesn't know a thing about it other than he stated that it came from "one of the premier builders on the West Coast".  🙄

Here's a photo dump with comments along the way.  You can also check out their video of their very first C&C, earlier in the summer, for mixed models down at the bottom of the photos list.

This is the main brewing building for Treehouse showing 1/3 of their brewing vats - The place is huge.  It also is home to their hard liquor distillery operation (infused Brandys and Rum, so far).   My friend, Hot Rod Ron's son works for Treehouse.IMG_2850IMG_2851

This is the main lot - We eventually filled this lot and the one up on the hill.  The building and grounds are really classy.

This is a very rare sighting of "Hot Rod Charlie" in the wild.  He's given up building Hot Rods under contract and is now working on a 1963 Porsche Carrera Super 90 coupe for himself.  He's also looking for a recent Cayman GT-4 to buy if anyone knows of one for sale (anywhere).

Very pretty 993 - Like "Nancy" in the animated Pixar movie, "Cars".

That's the nose of Chris' red Porsche on the left.  His friend's dark blue Porsche is next and that car was manufactured in Germany on September 11, 2001.  As a US Veteran of the war in Afghanistan (another Medic, @MusbJim!), I doubt that he will ever sell it.

This pair was right across from my car.  The owner of the 911 restored both it and the 914.  In contrast to the gray car, early Porsches are tiny.

This is the JPS.  Wish I could expand on it, but the guy truly didn't know a thing about it.

To his credit, though, he bought "Treehouse" decals for both sides (under the Pegasus).

This Bimmer snuck in when no one was looking, but he and his partner walked back to it carrying three cases of Treehouse beer.

This was three cars away from me and was one of the best 1970's throw-back New England Manxes I've seen around here in a long while.  We didn't run "Sand Tires" in New England for lack of dunes, so mostly we ran deep-cleat mud and snow tires  and off-roaded out in the Boonies.

This was the only 928, was very well restored and actually ran long enough to get him there (and hopefully, back home!)

Here's our side of the lot.  Don't know the silver car next to me, but Chris' 996 is on the right.

A Panoramic shot from the hill near the parking lot, first 30 minutes of the event.

A faux race car (yellow) next to Hot Rod Charlie's restored, pedigreed, race car in blue.

For you guys who might get to Naples, FL in the winter ( @Marty Grzynkowicz ) and can find the REVS Institute car collection, Charlie Padula is a Docent/Guide there and is a great guy to talk with - Ask for him.  Tell him I sent you.  He'll get a kick out of that.

Quite a few early 911 cars were there.  Some hadn't been out all summer because of the wet weather.IMG_2871IMG_2873IMG_2874

This video was of a mixed car, C&C back in May or June.  The Treehouse Owner is narrating the video and I'll post the video of yesterday's C&C when they put it up.

They make some fabulous beers out there.  It ain't cheap, but it is absolutely the best craft beer I've ever had, anywhere.  They don't sell in many places - you have to go to the breweries to get some of them, especially the specialty beers, but it's a nice ride and beautiful this time of year.  One of the great things about their location is that it is about 5 minutes from Wray Schelin's metal shop and 10 minutes from BT's Smokehouse - The Best BBQ in all of New England!!  Maybe some of this will show up at Thompson, CT when  Danny P is racing - Who KNOWS?

The owner was telling me that his goal is to control everything in the entire process from farms to consumer, so they recently announced that they bought an extensive farm in Woodstock, CT to grow the fruits and vegetables they need for their aromatics and pizza (Deerfield location only, for Pizza).  If you have ever been to Oregon, Treehouse reminds me a lot of the restaurants of the McMinniman brothers.

Each place has some historic background that they use as the restaurant's theme.  Same thing for the 6 totally different Treehouse sites.  Treehouse's selection of beers, Gin, Vodka, Brandy and Coffee is beyond extensive:
