Ok, having failed to find any Connecticut Becks, I'm widening my scope. Anyone, say, within a few hours of New York City (no, not South Carolina Lane, but thanks) with a Beck Speedster? Would really like to see one.

You should have gone to limerock mem day weekend 4 speedsters, and 2or 3 spyders...not sure if they were Becks?
Sheffield is very close to where I live...could I convince you to buy a Speedster so I could check it out?
I was toying with going to Lime Rock...and made the wrong decision. Believe it or not, I didn't know that 356 replicas existed until just after it! I wonder if that makes me the newest of the newbies?

Try Bill DeJohn Racing in NY State. It's a few hours from Hartford. He buys the kits from Beck and assembles them. I stopped by about 2 years ago. Seems to do a good job.http://billdejohnracing.com/beckspeedsters.html. Not sure if he still does them.
Thanks for the reply. Had the same thought but as I intend to deal directly with Carey, I thought it would be a bit disingenuous of me to impose on Bill. I am interested in seeing one of Carey's builds. Looks like I might have to extend my search to the quad-state area though...
