This is primarily a followup to a prior post (several months ago)answered by Jim Courville, but I am not electronically literate enough to PM him. I will be driving from Amarillo to Austin on April 10 and back on the 13th. Jim said that if I was in San Antionio (which can be on the way) he woudld show me his VS. I am a definite newbie, having never in person and up close seen a Speedster replica (although I lust for one endlessly). I would love to see your car on my way to or from my conference in Austin. If we can hook up I would love the opportunity to ogle your vehicle and spend some time gushing on and on about how much I love Speedsters. Jim, if you read this, please send me and email and we can make a date. My email is: matthew.branstine@region16.net.
Thanks for your help,
Matt Branstine

Robert,
Thank you so much for your offer. Getting to look at your Speedster in Austin will be much more convenient than trying to see one enroute. I will arrive in Austin (Round Rock, actually) on Tuesday the 11th. My conference is at the "Austin North Mariott" in Round Rock. It starts in the evening of the 11th with a short reception and is finished about noon on the 13th. I will check out my travel schedule and send you an email. We could meet either before my reception on the 11th or after we finish about 5:00 or so on the 12th.
I looked at your description and pictures. WOW!!! I'm afraid I will leave with a larger case of the wants than I have now.
I went to church with a Robert Miller in Liberal, KS when I was a kid. I don't suppose that you are the same, are you?
Thanks,
Matt
I would like to take this opportunity to publically thank Robert Miller for showing me his beautiful IM Speedster. He came to my hotel, spent time showing me his car, took me for a ride, and discussed many Speedster-related issues with me. I have to say that I have NEVER seen a more perfect car, or other item, than his IM Speedster. I am a high-end gun nut and I have to say that the IM Speedster is much like a Purdey or other best-quality British shotgun. I have handled several $60K Purdeys/Hollands/Rizzinis and have never been as much "in awe" as I was touching Bob's IM Speedster. WOW!!!!!!
Thanks, Bob, now I have to buy one!
It will take me a while to "get ready" to purchaxe my Speedster, and I will have to compare some other makers to see exactly what I need to have to be satisfied with my purchase. I guess that is what this site is all about.
