Anyone looking for a sand rail, or a neat sand rail tube frame to hang a Speedster body over and make into something outrageous?

I have a two seater sand rail, pretty much complete except for the engine, that I'm no longer going to use for any future project. It was up and running until I pulled the motor. I have a LOT of extra parts that could go along with it depending on whether you want to go street rod, rail buggy, dune buggy, GT car, or Speedster tube frame.

Stuff like 356 dash board, or aluminum dash board, Auto-Meter gauges or Porsche VDO gauges, buggy seats or Speedster seats, fiberglass dune buggy body or traditional sand rail nose clip, fiberglass Beetle tilt nose, fiberglass GT40-style body, tubular reinforced rear trailing arms, or rebuilt stockers, adjustable front beam or raised front beam, dragster wheels, Centerline wheels, or chromed VW wheels with Porches nipple caps and emblems.

Lots of stuff to swing the chassis towards any end use desired.

Just $500 for the rail buggy as it sits and we cam make a good deal for anything extra that you need to complete it how you want it to be.

Got to be a come and see, pick up kind of deal. Too much involved, too much to ship.

It's in Rhode Island right now, I can get it to Massachusetts or Connecticut on the trailer. Don't tell the Feds, but I have a title (in my name) and chassis plate that goes along with it, for the scrap metal and document collectors among you, 'cause I KNOW that nobody would ever weld the plate onto the partial torsion housing clip in the rear of the chassis . . . .

Thanks !

I originally bought it to put under the Fiat 600 body, but after measuring it up and taping off the cut and shut lines, there wasn't gonna be enough of it left to bother with. All of the cool tube frame/full cage factor would be lost, you know?

I've been holding it thinking that I could cut it in half and make one "traditional tube frame trike, and one modern tube frame reverse trike out of the rest of it. Those really fast and sweet tube frame suckers are sweet and a rail buggy chassis is perfect at both ends.

But, now I'm mostly looking for something British for a change and really don't wanna build an imitation Morgan-style ride as yet, so the frame is for sale.

I also have a single seat VW dragster frame for sale as well. Nice and hairy looking, a really 70's Gasser Wars kinda thing that would be sweet under a Speedster race body or made into a couple of single seater trikes.

Here are a few quick picks of the dragster frame, which is a frame only, but I have the parts to make it back into a roller.
