Turbo'd and intercooled by Dan Lawson of Competition Engineering in Phoenix, AZ. I have receipts for $15,000 for the conversion. Autometer gauges, MSD ignition and rev limiter. Autometer shift light. Everything is sorted. Not a radical ride. Runs exactly as before until it comes on boost. Still gets 22 mpg (maybe more if you keep your foot out of it!). Clear Missouri title as a '55 VW. I also have the original MSO from Chuck. Insurance is only $170/yr for $35,000 of full coverage.
