Turn Signal and Tail Lights

I just bought an unfinished speedster kit. I noticed some kits have marks on the body for the taillights and turn signals but this body does not. I

Chris, when I picked up the body for my Speedster, it had already been primed. There were no visible marks for the tail light locations. It turned out that, because the primer was laquer based, I had to completely strip the body in order to use a modern auto body paint. After striping the primer, I found there were slight impressions for cutting out the tail light openings. The filler/primer completely hid those impressions.

Chris---download the great CMC construction manual off this site. It's about 50 pages and shows everything--including where those lights go. Nice detail and pretty clear diagrams.

Makes a good item for anyone's documentation of a VW pan type Speedster. ---Jack
