turn signal flashers

I was wondering if anyone knows were the flasher unit for the turn signals is located. I found one under the dash next to the steering shaft.All the lights work but just won't flash It's a one year old Vintage Speedster. Thanks, Gary Tuner

mona/gary,
If your Vintage Speedster is the same as mine, you'll find the blinker can (small round silver can with 3 terminals) held onto the beam that runs beneath/behind the dash, right above the steering column.
Mine came fastened in that location by means of a glob of RTV.
