then this tool is available but very expensive. You can cut the hole in the material using an exacto knive or a razor blade and then bend the tabs on the fastner using a block of wood and a hammer. I installed about 10 of them on my motorhome's front bra.

I put two of those 5/8" screw stud ones on as the first connector starting at the doors but had to glue one down and the other I had a nylon nut that was used to fasten it yet had the wrond thread pattern so it was always loose. I took EVERYTHING off my car for paint but when I go to put everything back on is there a more effecient way to fasten them to the body other than glue?
