How many of you have spent the time or money or both putting a Type 4 cooler in a Type 1 doghouse shroud?

I've heard varying reports from 1 degree difference to 20 degrees or more

I'm also not sure it's worth the work and money since I have a remote cooler with fan which seemed to keep the (extinct) 2014 cool, probably enough (with the stock Type 1 doghouse cooler) to keep the new 2110 cool...

Didn't I read somewhere that you have an aluminum block? I recall Pat Downs saying the oil in aluminum blocks run 20 degrees hotter than magnesium. You just may need two external coolers in-line and a type 4 internal cooler not to mention having the engine compartment very well sealed and isolated from your exhaust heat.

No need to mess around just do it and get it over with. No smaller than 96 plate coolers with 1000 cfm fans. Roland Rascon can do the shroud mod for you for the type 4 cooler - just don't mention John built your motor!
