Cory needs to have these, bring them to Carlisle, Leon!

I'd love to have them, but I don't want to monkey with my heads.
If they don't need for me to drill and tap my existing parts, we could talk.
If memory serves, though, there are two holes in them for mounting bolts. I use the bail-type.

Corey....You replace one rocker shaft mounting bolt with a stud (included) on each shaft.....Should be less than a one day job.......

I forgot my VCs are vented. Probably not worth the trouble. I'll pass.
Thanks, though!

Dude, I have these for my type1. I drilled and tapped them , so mine are vented now too. It's no big deal!
I'll take the headlight grilles if they'll fit over my standard CMC headlights. Didn't someone once say that there was some drilling or modification involved for those things?
Cory!
You need those covers!!
Chuck...I believe most people remove the glass head light covers when they install the stone guards.......After looking at them on the car for a while, I think you could mount them with silicone rubber, after grinding off the existing tabs.....Just my .02.......
Leon: Thanks for getting back to me. I'm pretty sure I can't legally remove the glass covers in NY. If they'll fit over the covers, I'll take them. Just tell me where to send the $$$. thanks

Leon, if we can cajole Danny to do the work, bring 'em.
We can work something out.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what I love most about this hobby.
Thanks, guys. This ought to work out brilliantly.
Leon, let me have dibs on that back-up/shine-up light. I'll bring cash to the show.

The UPS guy and I are on a first name basis. We get prescription meds via mail order(much cheaper) plus all the car stuff I buy. Tires on Tuesday, meds today, Passat hitch friday, valve covers Monday.......

Danny, I was looking at weldable aluminum bungs for them today in the JEG's catalogue. I'd like to go that route, I think.
Corey......Welding might warp the covers......Just a thought....
If you are by this weekend, I have some that bolt on. Think they are EMPI and have neoprene gaskets either side and are aluminum. I was going to use them on steel covers - so not sure if they'd go thru thicker aluminum one.

Wolfgang, if you and Dale want to stop by the firehouse this weekend and drop them off, we could get you your shirts also.
I'm going to be there from tomorrow morning at 0700 until Monday morning at 0700. I will have your shirts with me, just in case.
