Greetings!

I'm selling a very nice unassembled CMC Speedster kit, which has been listed on eBay. You can see the car and read the lengthy description of the kit's condition and current build status by searching eBay for auction #260029529463 (just enter that number into the search field). Or you can try the following link, if supported by this forum:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=260029529463

I'm happy to answer any specific questions about the project on this forum, so feel free to ask.

Please help me find a new home for this long-delayed Speedster!! Thanks.

Oops, I forgot to mention that in addition to the kit itself, I have listed a number of "upgrades" that I purchased separately for the car and which I have listed on eBay separately.

These items can be used on most of the Speedster replicas around today and include items such as:

Chrome wheel and hubcap package

Top-quality OEM emblems, badges, and chrome accessories

Wiring harness originally intended for CMC Mercedes Gazelle (will be listed this weekend)

Just click on the View Sellers Other Items link on the Speedster page, or try this link:

Thanks again!

Thanks to the many people who have replied so far. A couple of quick comments to questions which keep coming up:

1) The donor Bug is a 1970, which means that the transaxle assembly that is included is the independant rear suspension (IRS) style.

2) The wiring harness that is listed separately does have a wiring diagram and color coding chart available, but not at this very moment. Since that harness came from my father's CMC Gazelle, and since he spends his summers riding around in his RV, the complete wiring diagram won't be available until early October (when he gets back home). I can await payment on the harness until that time if you prefer.

Regards.
