That is some incredible workmanship there. The frame is just beautiful metalwork.
It seems unlikely that anybody would cough up that much jack for a KG. It is an unusually nice piece of work, but $315 k asking....COME ON!
I remember seeing it in Hot VW's when it was first built. My thought then (and still is now) was that it's kind of sacriligious to put that much into a car that you're afraid to drive it....
My thoughts exactly. You can look at the brake rotors and see that it isn't driven.
7. Seller will consider holding car for pickup by carrier for no longer than 30 days after receipt of full verified payment.
Deal breaker right there. I wanted to pay this guy $315k for his cute car but he won't hold on to it for over 30days while I'm out of town. pshh....
lol
He's smoking something and he aint sharing.
"Don't bogart that joint, my friend..."
This is the kind of car only the likes of Jay Leno can afford to appreciate..... Literaly!
I STILL CANT BELIEVE ITS WORTH 315K

I still can't believe someone loves KG's that much to drop the kinda coin he did in it.
It's not even a bad ass car to begin with... I've heard of polishing turds but this dood took it to a whole new level.
I don't hate KG's by any means, I just can think of 10 other cars I'd rather dump $315k into first.
you could buy close to 10 low light verts (if you could find them) for that.
nice car - has been and always (probably) will be - the top bar in ghia customs, but honestly.... the person who would buy that isn't on TS.
I can appreciate the work that has gone into it and the frame design but the paint and wheels look like they are from a hot vw's issue in 1988.
I would much rather have this 3.6 litre "993RS" ghia by Bader Racing:

Tim
Lane, I was thinking the same thing about the brake rotors.
I don't particularly like the $315,000 Ghia, but I love the 3.6 litre 993RS.

Love that exhaust system. Where can I find something like that and will it work on my Beck?

Agreed!
He must have run out of aluminum by the time he got to the headliner.
The biggest question is "why"??? Why build THAT? What is its purpose? I love the workmanship on the frame, but the 80's TRON paint job is the polar opposite of what is underneath. 50K yes,315K? That must be in pesos?
A perfect example of someone extremely talented but lacking common sense.
Imagine if he started with a Ford Pinto...
Would that Pinto be with or without an exploding gas tank Terry? With that much money invested I think that the builder would have to spring for a fuel cell.
holly cnc cow!
