Greetings everyone,

I'm looking for an under-dash radio bracket. I want to mount a single-din radio below the center of the dash, instead of screwed to the 2x2 square tubing behind the dash. I want driver and passenger to be able to reach up easily, without leaning forward, to access the controls. The bracket would preferably be made of fiberglass. I could paint to match the CMC red gelcoat. It also doesn't have to have a single-din opening, I have a friend with a machine shop who can enlarge the cutout to the correct size. Does anyone make such a bracket? I've see Vintage Speedsters with a retro radio in the center spot, but I can't locate the bracket in the parts section of their web site.

Thanks,
Eric

I have one of these but I mounted it back on the 2x2" cross bar.  It could be mounted flush or just back a little from dash (be careful of shifter hitting it).  $12 and plastic so could be painted or vinyl covered.

My Speedster came with a similar bracket. I want something that mounts flush with the face of the dash so I can install a single-din GPS receiver with a fold-up screen.

I used the same bracket as Greg and mounted it to the 2" X 2" crossmember, but pulled it rearward so the face of the headset is more-or-less flush with the surface of the dash, and I attached it to the lip at the bottom of the dash to make it solid.

I'm having trouble visualizing what it is that you want.  Mine looks like these photos, so how would your differ?

Like Will said, call Kirk. It may not be on the website but he has them.
