The Totally Terrrific Touring Tub has gone in for some cosmetic 'refreshing' as you can see in the recent photos posted.
His ruby red interior always had the 'roseicia-look' so we went into the tanning booth and got him nice and dark and threw in some original 356 door panels with covered pockets to get rid of his sagging pouches.

A nip and a tuck here and there and I made his stock Nardi wheel look a little more Daring-ton with some brass screws and dermabrasion 220.

The 'hearing aids' were relocated to the back and in a 'vintage' suitcase, seems to help buffer the engine sound as well. The tweeters I put up under the dash are not playing out, I'll be re-thinking that move.

The roll bar is a JPS unit, chrome and really nice with flanges for mounting. I wrapped it in foam insulation and tape ala 1959.

The dermabrasion continued to the exterior, I roughed him out a bit and had an 'SS' stripe in a GMC-sort of red performed by Regal Collision...ooo-la-la

Jim, the seats are Vintage, but I had a local upholsterererer re-doux them with the piping and a stouter centerseat section for my flabby buns.

Engine has had a few more CB items installed and I got a stainless steel cone tip and had it welded on, it sounds nice for now.

More as it happens,
MM
