I was able to reach him through Ebay and he will call me when he gets back into town. I hope to do a road trip up there to take a look at the car in the next couple of weeks ( about a 3.5 hour drive )

I don't remember if I met you at Carlisle or not, but wanted to bend your ear for some advise on an unfinished speedster as it seems you have done a number of uncompleted kits from what I have read.
I plan on trying to get up to MD this weekend and see this car and was wondering if you would give me a call on my cell?
I have built another kit already ( a MG TD ) and am looking for a uncompleted speedster to build and get up to Carlisle this spring.

Dang! Missed anoter one! Oh well, at least it will get a good home;) Who bought it?

I picked it up hoping to finally complete one. I have had several over the past two years and keep running out of steam. The last one was a wide body, right hand drive one and I did not like the feel. I keep seeing Cory's postings and have seen his car bloom over the past year or so and that keeps the spark alive. Time will tell. Plan to flip the extra engine (1776)and go with the stock application (1500cc) currently in the car for reliability. I have always been more attracted to the wide bodies, but this one seems very clean, rust free and with solid construction. Just needs the interior finished and the "dreaded wiring" cleaned up.

Doing well Cory. The "Wrench" stopped by the other day. I'm glad he has you as a friend. Still no action/interest on the porsche jugs. On guy wanted just the wrist pins ???? Go figure. Stop by and take a look at the new toy. Should be arriving this week.

Will do. If you still have my number, could you call it? I have a new phone and all my numbers have to be manually re-keyed. Your number was on the bench at the Jacobs address -- until it painted over white this spring.

BTW -- Got a generator lying around, or am I going to have to ransom a child to pay Shawn for one of those alternator-doohickies? I'll give you whatever you're asking, up to $217.00 ...

Cory, Yes I have a generator and may also have an alternator depending on which type of regulator you have on the car.

I am sorry I missed on the car - I had an appointment to go up and see it last weekend, but by the time I got the OK from the wife it looks like Warren jumped on the deal. Good deal for him.

This is the kind of car I am looking for - an unfinished kit w/ drivetrain etc. I guess I need to just keep looking.
